Stonehenge Auditions 2019 - Session Three

TIVA is proud to be co-hosting the final of three sessions for this year's Stonehenge Auditions! This is a special event for the benefit of our members and the larger production community, and as such is a bit different from our usual meeting fare. (For example, we will be forgoing the usual pre-event networking session and jumping right into the event itself.)

So what exactly is Stonehenge Auditions?

Stonehenge Auditions is a mass audition where actors are videotaped delivering 90-second film and TV monologues — in rapid succession, in front of dozens of filmmakers and casting directors who need talent for upcoming projects. Producers and actors have reported over 1,500 roles in over 600 projects being cast starting with auditions at Stonehenge since it started in 2005.

What details do I need to know?

Actors must pre-register for the event and time slots are chosen by lottery. You must register via this page by Friday, April 5, 2019, at 1:00 pm to be included in the lottery for Session Three. Lottery results for Session Three will be emailed no later than Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Additionally, please bear the following details in mind:

  • Actors must be 18 years or older to audition.
  • All actors will be videotaped and need to sign a release. If you don't want to be taped, please don't register.
  • Unlike in years past, physical headshots and resumes will not be required, but you will need to upload your headshot and resume to a Dropbox folder (linked here; the link will also be provided in registration confirmation email).

Please remember that, as an actor, you must upload your headshot/resume to the Stonehenge Auditions 2019 Dropbox Folder prior to your audition. We will not be collecting physical headshots and resumes. You should also bring a signed copy of the release. Otherwise, you will not audition. For additional details, please visit Team Jabberwocky's Actor FAQ on the event.

Filmmakers, casting directors, talent agents, etc. (who we're collectively calling "producers" for the sake of brevity), do not need to pre-register. However space is limited so registering ahead of time is strongly encouraged.

Please remember that you will need a device (e.g. a tablet or laptop) to view headshots and resumes during the event, as we will not be distributing physical headshots and resumes. A listing of all the actors who auditioned will be provided shortly after the event. For additional details, please visit Team Jabberwocky's Producer FAQ on the event.

Where and when will it be?

Google MapsThe event will be held at Interface Media Group, 1233 20th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036. There is (some) metered parking on the street, and the nearest Metro station is Dupont Circle South.

Pricing is a bit different than usual for this event: It is absolutely free for current TIVA members (who must be logged in), and just $10 for the general public.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 48 hours in advance of the program. No refund will be issued for a cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice. If the event is canceled or rescheduled, refunds will be issued as needed. Similarly, refunds will of course be issued to any actors who are not selected in the lottery in the case of overbooking.
