Show Us Your Reel: Demos and Networking Night

  • People who are not currently non-paid members. - If you wish you may join at the meeting and the price difference will be refunded.

Networking at the Press Club

With the holidays behind us, we figured it was time to get everyone back together to share what they've been up to. Come join us for the winter edition of our networking/show us your reel event at the Interface Media Group on February 6th.


Since this event is usually packed, this is the prime time to come network with fellow professionals and check out each other's work as we showcase everyone's reels and demos.


It's like open mic night - except with more talent on display than most. Bring your reel, a sample of your music or announcing skills or just come and tell us why you should be hired.


Talking/presenting time per person will be limited to 1 -2 minutes before their 2 minute reel is shown with a Q&A/Networking session afterwards. - And if you're the type who doesn't like talking to groups, type something up and we'll get one of our professional announcer types to read for you.


Bring your best 2 minute video demo on a Flash drive or DVD for showing. Quicktime playable is preferred, Please contact us ahead of time about other formats. If you are planning on showing your work, please do try to arrive a little early so we can coordinate everything.


When: Thursday, February 6th.  Networking starts at 6:30pm, Reels start showing at 7:10pm

Where: Interface Media Group - 1233 20th Street NW Washington DC Metro: Farragut West or Dupont Circle

How Much: $20 General Public, $10 TIVA Members  (To cover cost of food and drink)

Why: Because it’s a lot of fun and a great chance to catch up with your fellow professionals.
